“We no longer believe just because of what you said;
now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the
Savior of the world.”
John 4:42
“There is snow outside and I didn’t even pray for it last night!” Sometimes God gives us what we hope for just because He wants to and can. You see, last week we arrived here at Grandpa and Grandmas farm in upstate NY. After almost two years in Africa, our two boys – Joshua and Nathaniel – were hoping to be able to make snowballs to toss in their fathers direction and to sled down a hill – but, the green grass and lack of anything white (except the milk from the cows in the barn) made such hopes out of reach – until last night. Hopes were answered. (View our blog photos to see more)
God often supplies what we need – often before we even ask but when we do ask – He is faithful. He has been faithful to us and our ministry of Empowering Lives International as we serve among the needy – sharing ideas and the love of God in action. We pray that His supply will also surround you this season.
We are enjoying this week with family here in the USA and counting down the days (less than one week) before we head back to Kenya.
We want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and to thank God for the ways that countless friends and family have stood with us in life and ministry. We have seen lives transformed by the grace of God through the ministry in Africa and we look forward to seeing the favor of God surround us as we return this next week to Kenya. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!
May His peace and supply reach each of you – from the inside out – until His overflowing love transforms your life and impacts an ever expanding circle of people around you. Until the whole world knows Jesus Christ really is… “The Savior of the world!”
Love, Don, Amy Joshua and Nathaniel
