On Wednesday we said our goodbyes to our first group of Form 1 boys here in Ilula. They have been admitted to Concord Boys High School. We are thrilled this year that four Form 1’s and two Form 2’s from KK are also attending Concord. This puts our total number of boys at this high school to almost 20 from our Children’s Homes. At the end of the school year last year I attended the closing awards ceremony and chapel for the school. Concord puts God first in everything they do and you really can sense God’s presence at this school. Our boys are performing well academically but what I love seeing is their spiritual growth and character development. I know that God is going to continue to do miracles in the lives of our boys as they school here. Concord is an amazing blessing and answer to prayer for our boys. Thank you for your continued prayers for our children as they grow up and make these important transitions into high school.
