Celebrating Friends and Lives Empowered

Our journey to Nairobi was mostly successful.  Don was able to get the work permit completed which gives us two years until renewal.  Still to be processed will be Amy and the boys which should be done within a couple of weeks.

Today 30 people from villages all over the area are in day three of a special training where they are learning skills on how to reach and teach children in church Sunday School Programs and special outreach events. Carolyn and Tom Hamic have come for a short time to help in a variety of ways including this special training week. Tomorrow several pastors who have received training in the past are coming here to Ilula, Kenya to express their appreciation for the impact that the ministry has had on their lives.

We are putting some final touches on several of our proposals for projects that will generate income within the country and help our work move more and more toward self sustainability.

Our Anti Alcohol team went last week to follow up on the 13 men that have recently completed the one month rehabilitation program. 11 of them are standing strong in their sobriety and faith in Christ! There were several special services on Sunday to “welcome” these men into their local churches.

This Sunday the Childrens Home Choir will be again traveling to yet another High School (Concord Secondary – Eldoret)  to sing and testify of what God has done in their lives.

This Saturday is a special event to dedicate the new water well for Gods purposes as we use the water to grow food and advance the tree nursery project.

This Saturday a team from Water of Life Church in Rancho Fontana arrives to serve along with us to strengthen our lives and ministry.

We need and appreciate your prayers so  much.  Thanks for standing with us as we empower lives together!
